The End

In my opinion the play was very dramatic and romantic and I really liked it. I think that the tragic ending happened because of human error. Romeo and Juliet should’ve just run of together after they got married instead of staying. Also, Friar Laurence should have sent the letter to Romeo sooner then that way Romeo would know what was happening with Juliet and he wouldn’t go and kill himself because she thought that Juliet was really dead. I think that if Romeo and Juliet had run off together after they got married, neither of them would be dead right now and they would be happily married together. They made me feel sad that they died and kind of mad because it was kind of their parents fault.

Fair or Unfair?

I think that the prince’s punishment for Romeo was fair even thought it didn’t seem like it was to Romeo. The penalty for that type of crime was death which means that Romeo was very lucky that the prince decided to just banish him and not to put him to death. I think the prince changed the penalty because Romeo was a friend of Mercutio and Romeo was taking revenge on Tybalt for his death. This will affect Romeo and Juliet’s relationship because it will be more difficult for them to see each other without other people knowing about them.

Similarities&Conflicts

There are many similarities in Romeo and Juliet and our times today. They are mostly related with conflicts. In Romeo and Juliet they are always people who start fights it’s the same now. People start fights because they entertain them, or because they think that that will help them solve their problems.
